After a period based in Utrecht, Gerrit and Cornelia Bosschaart have had an orchard in Noordbroek since 1999. On their property, they grow apples, pears, plums and cherries. These are sold in the country shop near the farm. Here they also sell delicious fruit juices and other local produce. They process their fruit into jams and chutneys, among other things, and market other products under the name 'Grunneger Heerlyckheid', such as the genuine Groninger Poffert in a weck jar. So there are plenty of goodies on offer! Do you really want a unique experience? Then you can also stay overnight at Bosschaart. In the middle of the orchard they have a small farm campsite with all modern conveniences. You spend the night among the trees where the plums from your jam come out, isn't that cool?
