Location
Our Oldambtster boerderij is situated in the centre of Midwolda. Behind the farm, you’ll find fishing ponds, a café and a terrace. You can come and fish for trout with us, or try your hand at catching sturgeon or carp in the Catch & Release pond. A mix of salmon and rainbow trout is stocked in the trout pond. Occasionally, we also stock golden trout or char. We currently have Siberian sturgeon in the experience pond, and since the end of 2022, a good number of mirror and common carp have also been swimming there.

There’s an adjoining café and terrace where anglers can enjoy a bite to eat and a drink, but non-anglers are also very welcome. You can pop in for some chips and a snack, a meatball in gravy, a sandwich or something tasty to go with your coffee. Naturally, trout is a must on the menu: smoked or oven-baked, served with chips and salad or on a sandwich.
There are various packages available for parties and celebrations. The website lists a number of options. If you have any specific requests, we’re happy to discuss them.

- Children €12.00 Price for a half-day (4 hours) of trout fishing for children up to 12 years old
- Groups €350.00 Price for half a day (4 hours) to hire the pond. Based on a group of 20 people.

Facilities for people with disabilities
- Accessibility notes: A shell path has been built around the pond, though overgrown with grass, but easily accessible for wheelchairs, mobility scooters ect.

- Explanatory parking: If you drive past the farm to the back, you will find more parking spaces there. Also, this is closer to the pond.
