Thanks to the hotel’s ideal location, nestled amongst the city’s canals and just a 10-minute walk from the Central Station and the Groninger Museum, this is the perfect base for a visit to Groningen. Opposite the hotel, separated only by a footbridge over the water, lies the De Oosterpoort music centre and theatre. From the hotel, it is just a 10-minute walk to the Grote Markt and the Martinitoren. The Grote Markt boasts numerous terraces, cafés and restaurants. Behind the Grote Markt lie the shopping streets and interesting sights such as the Prinsentuin, the University of Groningen and the Martinitoren.

The cosy Grand Café is situated on the ground floor of the hotel, behind reception. In the mornings, the Grand Café provides a relaxed setting in which the international breakfast buffet is served. During the day, the Grand Café serves coffee or tea. You can also relax after a day’s shopping or read a newspaper in the adjoining, well-stocked library.

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, a valet is on hand to park your car for you and retrieve it when you leave. On all other days, you can park your car yourself. The car park has two electric charging points for cars.
