You can stay in two spacious rooms: a bedroom and a living-bedroom. There is an en-suite bathroom and a small kitchenette. Modern décor, plenty of privacy. Everything is situated on the upper floor, accessible only by stairs (not suitable for people with reduced mobility). There is free private parking, and your bicycles can be stored in a lockable shed (equipped with a fire-safe battery station and charging facilities). Quiet surroundings, situated on the outskirts of the village.
Within walking distance of the B&B is a supermarket (De Dorpswinkel, 200 metres), a railway station (5–8 minutes’ walk, towards Eemshaven, Delfzijl and Groningen) and a bus stop (7–10 minutes’ walk, towards Groningen/Lauwersoog).

The B&B is an ideal base for walking (including the Groningse Wandel4daagse and the Pieterpad), cycling (many junction-based routes), visiting Groningen city centre (just a 15-minute train journey to the centre), visiting Lauwersoog National Park and, from there, the Wadden Sea island of Schiermonnikoog; boat trips (various boats available for hire in Winsum, 4 km away); visiting Winsum, voted the Netherlands’ Most Beautiful Village in 2020; attending festivals such as the ‘ Stadspark ’ in Groningen, the TT in Assen, etc.
