Vissen in het Lauwersmeer
National Park Lauwersmeer is a popular place to fish for many people. Not only for the tranquillity and beautiful surroundings, but also for the good catches.
Scottish Highland cattle and Konik horses graze peacefully along the water’s edge. You find yourself right in the middle of it all. Suddenly it strikes you: when you drive past, you’re merely a spectator. On the water, you’re part of the impressive whole. Bream and roach are particularly common in the Lauwersmeer, but you can also fish for zander and perch there. The Robbengatsluis, for example, is a good spot for fishing for perch. Other good fishing spots include the Vlinderbalg, the Oude Robbengat, Oostmahorn and Lauwersoog.
