EM2 Venue
An independent venue and events location. We offer space and energy – particularly to residents of the city and the surrounding countryside. We organise unique events on the site of the former sugar factory, often open to the public and sometimes for private groups.

We believe that culture energises us – from Van Gogh enthusiasts to die-hard rockers. It is energy that brings fulfilment and keeps us going. It is essential for a happy society. This is equally true in the Northern Netherlands.
The most important thing is this: we always leave room for your ideas. Our team is here to help – from quenching your thirst to organising your event. Whether you’re on your own or with a whole group. Because even though we’re quite big, we still think on a small scale.
