Take a closer look

Heemtuin Muntendam and adjacent nature park Tussen de Venen are beautiful in all seasons. A quick internet search and you won't know what you see. The ideal environment for camping and experiencing for yourself that the area is even more beautiful than you already thought! During your bike ride or walk - also with the dog - you will be surprised by the unique flora and fauna.

De Heemtuin is a varied landscape of 10 ha, with a sustainably built pavilion and a nature playground. The terrace campsite is located on the border with the nature park, so every tent has a great view.

There is also plenty to do in the surrounding area. There are beautiful cycling routes through peat-colonial areas or along authentic Groninger borgen and lakes with water sports facilities. Furthermore, there are (outdoor) art routes and regional products and you can easily reach Groningen city or Assen for cultural variety.
