Craft museum 't Steenhuus
Discover Groningen's only remaining Steenhuis - a special piece of medieval history in the village of Niebert. Stone houses are rare: only a few have been preserved in the whole of the Netherlands. That makes this monument a unique place to visit.

The museum is located in the old barn attached to the Steenhuis. Here you will find two permanent exhibitions on centuries-old crafts: the baker's craft and the painter's craft. There are also several other crafts on display, complete with authentic utensils from earlier times.
The former middle class also comes alive in the collection. And to keep things surprising every year, Museum 't Steenhuus always organises a new temporary exhibition with a different theme.
The museum is located on the centuries-old walking and cycling path 't Pad, a beautiful route that invites you to visit this historical gem.
