The restaurant has a nautical and atmospheric décor and features a large terrace overlooking the museum harbour and Lauwersmeer. You can moor your boat in our museum harbour and even stay overnight on your own vessel or in one of our accommodation options.
The changing seasons play a major role in the dishes we serve. Our chefs select the finest, locally sourced produce from our Wadden region, and we also offer changing weekly and daily menus featuring super-fresh, surprising ingredients. Our kitchen is delighted to let you enjoy your meal in your own way, and we also offer a breakfast service, picnic baskets and on-site catering.

When the weather’s fine, there’s even an ice-cream kiosk serving the most delicious ice creams. ‘Het Booze Wijf’ is a place where children suddenly finish everything on their plates and fall asleep straight away.
