The cast-iron village pump was installed in 1871. Residents of the village call it the 'red pump' because of its colour. Eenrum's village pump was out of action for 50 years, but was restored in 1997/1998. This was done by members of the Historische Kring Eenrum, a foundation that aims to preserve the history of Eenrum.
