You can easily visit the islands of Schiermonnikoog and Borkum. The comfortable Hotel Waddengenot is the official starting point of the Pieterpad. Mudflat walking tours are also organised daily. What’s more, the hotel boasts various facilities, such as two à la carte restaurants (one of which is in Lauwersoog, with stunning views over the Wadden Sea and Lauwersmeer) and a Grand Café. And the children? They’ll be jumping for joy in the playground, which covers no less than 2,500 m², or whizzing around the go-kart track!
