The marina is located on the standing mast route from Delfzijl, via the city of Groningen to Friesland and the Lauwersmeer and Wadden area. The colourful buildings around the harbour make this modern marina a special place. Besides being a transient port, it is also a very attractive home port for motor cruisers, sailing yachts and sloops. The marina has excellent sanitary facilities, a diesel filling station, wifi and a bike and sloop rental service. Supermarkets, nice shops but also the world restaurant make the marina very attractive and cosy. The city centre with museums, theatres and cinemas is easy to reach.
