Bostheater Vriescheloo
Hidden in the woods near Vriescheloo is a small theatre. The open-air theatre seats about 100 people per performance and is also used for various other activities.
In 2017, the Vriescheloo village council’s long-held wish came true: a small theatre was built in the woods behind De Driesprong primary school. The theatre consists of a wooden grandstand and can accommodate around a hundred visitors at a time. It was built in collaboration with Staatsbosbeheer and the primary school, and serves both as a venue for special performances and as an outdoor classroom for the school. The theatre is situated along the Ganzenpad, an educational and recreational walking trail that takes you past places of interest and along a series of activities in and around Vriescheloo. A charming little theatre in a unique location in the woods – it’s bound to fill you with wonder.
