Stay overnight in Pieterburen's old post office, 450 metres from the Ziltepad and the starting point of the Pieterpad. With a large garage to safely store (and recharge) bicycles.

The website is still under construction, but booking is possible via Booking.com and Vrienden op de Fiets. Includes full breakfast with bread from local bakkerij Stoet en Ainvoud and possibility to make a packed lunch from this as well. The owner is an experienced long-distance hiker himself and knows what is needed for a pleasant overnight stay. When booking via Booking.com, you are guaranteed to sleep in the B&B room with its own shower and toilet. When booking via Friends on the bike, you sleep in the guest room, with shared shower and toilet (and if the B&B room is not yet booked, you have a lucky break and sleep on there). And you can always use the lovely garden, where you can find a spot in the sun or shade at any time of day.
