Schutsluis Middenverlaat
The Middenverlaat (also Middelste Verlaat or Middenste Verlaat) is a lock built in Wildervank in the late 17th century.
No peat excavation without locks. Because for the passage of peat ships, the water must be high. The Middenverlaat in Wildervank takes care of that. The lock was built in the seventeenth century. Near the lock is the Verlaathuis. It used to be the lock master's house.
