In Loppersum, you can take a dip in a unique saltwater pool. This pool was dug out by hand in 1933. And the water is pumped from a 112-metre-deep spring. The sun warms the purified and healthy spring water.

Take a closer look

The saltwater pool is water fun for young and old!

Besides swimming in the fifty-metre pool, you can play in the shallow end, with a running mat and slide. For toddlers, there is a paddling pool. Youngsters can spend time in the deep end and use the two diving boards. After swimming, you can enjoy the sun on the dykes or play volleyball together on the playing field.

Saltwater:
The salt in pumped water is a composition of various types of salt, including magnesium salt. This makes the salt water attributed specific qualities regarding health and soothing. The water is treated by aerating and then filtering it. We do this to remove the iron from the water. This is a process where no chemicals are used. This is also considered very pleasant by our guests.
