Logement de bedstee is a listed monument located on the old mound of Eenrum. A unique base for excursions and to further explore the Hogeland. The lodge has its own kitchen and a luxurious new bathroom. Upstairs are the bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Downstairs is the living room where a third person can stay overnight. Also there is the fully equipped kitchen and a separate toilet. Sights in the area include the most beautiful village in the Netherlands: Winsum, the seal centre in Pieterburen and Doezoo in Leens. The area lends itself to beautiful cycling or sailing trips through, for example, National Park Lauwersmeer or the Reitdiepgebied. The many (mound) villages, with their beautiful borgen, churches and monuments, also invite you to visit. Furthermore, you can discover the Wadden by taking a day trip to Schiermonnikoog or a mudflat walk. Or enjoy the view in the smallest seaport Noordpolderzijl and at night the starry sky that is still clearly visible here. Surprising are the many small-scale cultural events. Whether it is music, art or a performance, there is something for everyone!
