A bricked-in stone tells us when the church was built: 'Jonkvrouwe Magdalena Adriana Canter Visscher laid the first stone to this church on 7 August 1751'. After the church was built, the attic served as an ammunition and hay loft. Earlier, the building behind it housed two horse stables. The church still functions as a Protestant church. In addition, concerts are regularly held there.
