Take a nice walk or bike ride through Visvliet past the objects of the Eise Eisinga Dream Tour Visvliet. These objects were created in memory of former resident Eise Eisinga. He is the inventor and creator of the still working Planetarium in Franeker. In the late 1700s, he lived in Visvliet for five years because he was exiled from Friesland. The objects of the Eise Eisinga Dream Tour are all to do with space, constellations, planets, etc. and they were conceived and, as much as possible, made by Visvliet residents themselves. On our website you can find a print version of the map of Visvliet and the location of all the objects but there is also an information board on the Heirweg.
