Kinderboerderij Stadspark
In the middle of the Stadspark, hidden between trees and bushes, is one of the nicest places in Groningen. Here you will find a petting zoo and a large playground.

They are proud of it at Kinderboerderij Stadspark. Whereas in other petting zoos animals are often in cages, here they just walk around freely. At least, as far as it is good for the animals themselves. The donkeys, for instance, have their own field. But don't be alarmed if a goat snaps at your shoelaces while you are drumming a song on the musical instrument made of metal pipes. The petting zoo has a terrace where you can have an ice cream and a drink. Across the path is a large playground with playhouses, swings and slides. Rauzen! Prefer to see even more animals? A little further on, there is a herd of Scottish Highlanders. Actually, the Stadspark is a free zoo in the middle of the city.
