Jubilee concert in the Stadspark
On Friday 25 September, the Stadspark will form the backdrop for a unique anniversary concert in honour of 100 years of the Stadspark. The municipality of Groningen is organising this special evening in collaboration with SPOT Groningen and KOPJEK.
The ‘friends’ are well-known - During the anniversary concert, Bert Visscher, TAXITAXI and Inge van Calkar, together with the orchestra, will ensure it’s a fantastic evening!

The concert will be held at the Drafbaan in Groningen's Stadspark . The gates of the park will be open from 18:00, so visitors can enter quietly and find a good spot. At 19:00 the concert will officially start, and at 20:30 this special anniversary concert will close.
100 years Stadspark
The concert is part of the jubilee programme in honour of 100 years of Stadspark. For 100 years, Stadspark has been the backyard of the city of Groningen. A place where generations of Stadjers have come together for a century. And this year, we celebrate it extra well: with an extensive jubilee programme and plenty of other activities, the Stadspark will be a great place to be all summer long.

Frequently asked questions
The event will take place at the Stadspark event site, Concourslaan 10 in Groningen.
On foot or by bike Do you live in or near the city of Groningen? The quickest way to get to and from the concert site is on foot or by bike. The bicycle parkings nearby are free of charge. Navigate to Concourslaan 10 for the bicycle parking facilities near the entrance of the event site.
By public transport? If you travel by train, check www.ns.nl or 9292.nl for travel advice and choose Groningen station as your final destination. From this station you can walk to the former trotting course in about 15 minutes.
Going by bus? Plan your journey via 9292.nl, for example. The most convenient stop is Verzetstrijderslaan.
There are P+R locations around Groningen. From here you can continue with regular public transport.
The event site is accessible to everyone. There is an additional accessible deck at the event. Would you like to make use of this, or do you have any specific requirements, such as an accessible parking space? Please send an email to evenementen@groningen.nl.
Several bars with drinks and light snacks will be available at the venue. Payment can be made with cash, debit card or other contactless payment method. Please note that you are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks to the venue.
Take care of yourself and each other. By claiming a ticket and entering the grounds, you agree to KOPJEK's house rules. You will receive these by e-mail with your ticket.
During the concert, found objects will be collected at the bar in the grounds. Afterwards, these will be handed over to the municipality and you can find them at www.verlorenofgevonden.nl.
No, this is a standing concert and there are no seats available. However, you are allowed to bring your own (folding) chair.
