The longest picnic table in Groningen
On the site, you will find a cosy catering square with food trucks, seating areas and Groningen's longest picnic table. A nice place to eat, drink and meet other visitors together in the middle of the Stadspark.
Culture and entertainment
During Park Day, Rapalje will bring the atmosphere of folk and Celtic music to the Stadspark. This Groningen-based folk band offers a glimpse into the world behind Zomerfolk, the festival that attracts thousands of visitors to the park every year. Spread across the grounds, street theatre and interactive performances will provide surprising encounters. There’s plenty to experience all along the racecourse.
Activities
You can join in the fun all afternoon. Play a free round of mini-golf at Club Caddie or take part in the ‘Zonnestralenspel’, a large collaborative game in which participants work together to balance a platform. At Près le But, Jeu de Boules clinics will be held at two different times:
- 14:00 – 15:00
- 16:00 – 17:00
Rollend Groningen runs clinics at the trotting track.
Win a hot-air balloon ride (worth 185 euros)
