There are various options for your camping adventure. You can go completely off-grid and book a pitch without electricity. With this option, you get an extra idyllic spot on the campsite, where you wake up to birdsong. Want something more luxurious? Then choose the pitches on one of the green fields. Here you have electricity, a water tap and the central sanitary building nearby. But if you don't want to bring your own camping equipment, there are also cosy Swedish cottages for rent. The wooden 4-person cottages are attractively furnished and have their own private terrace, air conditioning, rain shower and other luxury amenities.

There are also two domes with panoramic views and a hiker's tent. In the domes, you wake up peacefully to birds singing and warm sunbeams on your face. The domes make you feel completely immersed in nature, while still enjoying luxury and comfort. The trekking tent is ideal for adventurers who enjoy longer day trips: compact, adventurous and at one with the environment.

The shining centre of the campsite is bistro Landing. The cosy bistro with outdoor bar and terrace is open from midday to evening for everyone: you don't have to be a campsite guest to come here. From 12 noon onwards, you can go there for a freshly baked sandwich, a good cup of lager and cake from Paais. It is also an excellent place for a drink. In the evening, you can enjoy high-end shared dining, with worldly dishes prepared by the chef, Gerlof Castelein, using honest and mainly local ingredients. There are also special pizza nights when the pizza oven is lit and you can order the most delicious pizzas.

And besides the bistro, there is more: there is a nature playground for the kids, a beach volleyball court, plenty of playgrounds in excellent condition, and a campfire is often lit in the evening. There are also enough games available in the bistro to engage in a real game tournament. The necessary water fun is also provided for: there is a swimming pool with sunbathing area and bar. Did you forget to get something in the supermarket? No problem, there is a small campsite shop for the essentials.

The campsite’s location is ideal. You can reach Groningen’s bustling city centre in no time at all, whilst on the other hand you can also find complete peace and quiet in the surrounding countryside. The campsite is just a stone’s throw away from the famous Pieterpad. The third stage of this long-distance walking route, from Groningen to Zuidlaren, passes just a few hundred metres from the campsite. The Onnerpolder nature reserve is also just round the corner from the campsite and perfect for birdwatchers and keen walkers. Furthermore, the Zuidlaardermeer is definitely worth a visit, where you can enjoy water sports or simply relax by the water.
