The Groninger Museum Museum stands for extrovert and multicoloured. With a multifaceted collection of art and antiquities and a series of special, innovative exhibitions of international stature, the museum manages to appeal to a wide audience time and again.
The museum is a work of art in its own right, in which every room also references the collection. The building, designed by Alessandro Mendini with contributions from Michele De Lucchi, Philippe Starck and Coop Himmelb(l)au, provides an inspiring setting for equally artistic contents.
