The cast-iron village pump was installed in 1871. The villagers call it the ‘red pump’ because of its colour. The village pump in Eenrum had been out of service for fifty years, but was restored in 1997/1998. This work was carried out by members of the Eenrum Historical Society, a foundation dedicated to preserving the history of Eenrum.
