With a hall of 900 m2, Hanze Plaza is also the perfect venue for events and congresses. The convention centre is entirely at ground level, making it very suitable for disabled people. The halls of Hanze Plaza are named after Hanseatic cities and decorated with large photos of beautiful city districts. The rooms can be fully customised to make your visitors feel personally welcome. With rooms ranging from 51 to 125 m2 , we can always offer you a suitable space. In addition to the rooms, Hanze Plaza Plaza offers a luxurious boardroom that meets the highest standards.

Location and surroundings
Hanze Plaza has chosen a very easily accessible location, both by car and by public transport. Hanze Plaza is about a 10-minute taxi ride from the station. There is also a good bus service from the station, which stops practically on the doorstep. If you’re travelling by car, you can park in our spacious free car park. If you fancy a quick trip into the city centre from Hanze Plaza , it’s very easy to do. You’ll discover that Groningen is well worth a visit. Or as the Groningen campaign says: there’s nothing quite like Groningen.
Food and drink
Hanze Plaza would like to facilitate and organise your meeting for you. In terms of facilities, everything is possible and various arrangements are offered. Besides the choice of different rooms, a customised plan of different spaces can also be offered.

By bus
There is a good bus service from Groningen Central Station, which stops close to Hanze Plaza . You can take bus routes 35 Groningen, 39 Groningen, 637 Groningen or 682 Groningen and get off at Meubelboulevard Hoendiep. From there, it’s a three-minute walk.

By car
From the Groningen Western Ring Road, take the Hoendiep exit
towards McDonald’s. Then take the first right
(Atoomweg) and then the first turn on the left (Protonstraat).
Follow Protonstraat. You’ll find the Hanze Plaza Conference Centre on your left just past the first bend. You can park your car in our spacious, free car park.
