This natural garden is situated on the outskirts of the village of Veele. Tuinkronkels, a garden covering over 3,000 m², comprises an orchard, a kitchen garden, a wooded bank and a toad pond. It is also home to the studio of Tinca van Voorthuisen and Hein Termeer. The garden owners practise biodynamic gardening, and almost every plant growing in the garden produces either an edible fruit or a usable part of the plant, such as a natural dye. There are also various plants, shrubs and trees that are rare by Dutch standards. The garden is characterised by plenty of rounded shapes, the reuse of materials and the use of natural materials as supports for plants or climbing plants.
You won’t find any plastic there, and certainly no pesticides or artificial fertilisers.

A felt-making workshop has been set up in an outbuilding, where wool takes centre stage but painting also takes place. Another part of that building houses the preserving kitchen. In this space, produce from the garden is turned into juices, jams and chutneys.
