Rozema Pumping Station
The Rozema Pumping Station is named after Harry Rozema, a hydraulic engineer at the Eemszijlvest Water Board. The water is discharged into the Eems via pipes through the sea dyke. To safeguard fish migration from the Wadden Sea, the pumping station features a fish passage.

The pumping station came into operation in 2000 to replace the nearby Cremer pumping station. When external water levels are high, combined with a large inflow of water, the Rozema pumping station drains not only the Oldambtboezem but also the Eemskanaal-Dollardboezem. To this end, a connecting canal was constructed, featuring a lock and weir/steam pipes, between the Oosterhorn Canal (Eemskanaal-Dollardboezem) and the Termunterzijldiep.
