Figurative art Very occasionally, at Galerie Aanblick, we make space for a temporary exhibition. But generally speaking, we exhibit a varied collection of paintings by dozens of artists from the Netherlands. For us, ‘figurative’ is a broad concept. From lines and dots that together still represent something to highly realistic works: you’ll find it all on our walls. This means we have artworks to suit everyone’s taste. Furthermore, it would seem we have a rather curious soft spot for paintings depicting ‘living creatures’!

Our gallery on the Kromme Elleboog in Haren (not to be confused with the Kromme Elleboog in Groningen) is open on Friday and Saturday afternoons between 1.00 pm and 5.00 pm. If you’d prefer to visit at another time, please feel free to give us a ring. We’ll have the keys with us and will be happy to let you in. Or pop into our additional display window in the foyer of the Fletcher Familiehotel in Paterswolde. Although none of us are present there, you can view dozens of works from our collection at your leisure at any time.
