Borgbloemke is a ‘kop-hals-romp’ farmhouse, the oldest parts of which date back to 1866. The property has been fully restored, with great attention paid to preserving its authentic features.

Situated in the picturesque Westerkwartier, you’ll find Borgbloemke Farm in Nuis. The farm forms part of the Coendersborch estate. In addition to the spacious farm, the estate comprises the imposing Coendersborch house next door and the farm situated next to that. That farm is leased out.
Behind the farms and manor houses lies a beautiful forest that is home to many different animals. Waterways, mound settlements, bocage landscapes, churches and borgen abound here. A significant part of this landscape has been shaped by human hands. This occurred broadly in two phases: through agriculture and large-scale peat extraction. The village of Nuis lies to the south-west of Groningen, between the city of Groningen and Drachten. Culture and nature are therefore just around the corner here.

Borgbloemke is a ‘head-neck-body’ farmhouse, with the front part of the house set at right angles to the barn. The oldest parts of the farmhouse date back to 1866. The property has been fully restored with respect for its old, authentic features.
On the ground floor, in addition to the living room and dining room/kitchen, you will find a bathroom and 2 double bedrooms. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds. The rear part of the farmhouse houses a museum.
