Molen Edens
Of all the windmills in the province of Groningen, Molen Edens is the oldest. It was built in 1763, presumably initially as a husking mill, before being converted into a corn mill.

The windmill has been raised twice, in 1870 and in 2006. The last time, the windmill was raised by as much as three metres, as the wind was being blocked by a block of flats built close to the windmill.
