A peaceful stay
At the Lentemaheerd, there’s plenty of space for everyone. Each of the seven bedrooms has two comfortable beds and an en-suite bathroom. With a few extra beds, we can accommodate up to 17 people in total. The children can have a go on the go-karts, whilst you relax in a comfortable chair with a nice drink. With the large kitchen, you’re free to do as you please when it comes to food and drink. But if you’d like, we’d be happy to prepare breakfast for you. Need anything else? Just let us know. Something we’re particularly proud of: our group accommodation is wheelchair accessible and has facilities for people with reduced mobility. We’re happy to ensure that everyone feels welcome.

Our guest accommodation business began years ago as a sideline to our farming business. Gradually, we have come to focus more and more on our guests. Nevertheless, we still love to share the story of the agricultural sector and life in the province of Groningen. You can experience this not only at the Lentemaheerd, but also in the surrounding area. Stap by bike and you’ll cycle through the agricultural landscape, which is coloured by various crops, such as flowering potato fields. The swaying grain fields change colour beautifully with the seasons, from fresh green to golden yellow.
