Passers-by from the Netherlands and other countries know how to find the marina all too well due to its sheltered location on the old Eemskanaal canal. The marina is known for its perfect facilities and cordial reception of guests.

Location
Due to its exceptional location, the port offers good opportunities for cruising to the Dutch and German Wadden Islands. It is also possible to sail up the Eems towards Emden, Leer and other German ports. Via the "Blue Passage", trips to the Oldambtmeer are possible and circuits in East Groningen can be sailed. Access to Damsterdiep is gained via the Roggenkamp lock. Friesland and Drenthe can be reached by sailing the Eemskanaal westwards. By bicycle, nearby mound villages, the seaport and the dike can be visited.
The ground floor of the shore building is equipped as a toilet and shower area for passers-by. Here you will also find a laundrette, a toilet facility for the disabled and a dump for your chemical toilet. Waste oil can be delivered to the environmental depot via the harbour master and there is a waste water pumping station.
