Bax Beer is a young Groningen brewery, known for modern classics like the Kon Minder and Koud Vuur. In their brewery, they experiment to their heart's content, producing the finest beers.

In 2014, two cycling friends founded Baxbier Brewery. What started out of curiosity at home in the kitchen soon became much more than that. By now, Baxbier has become indispensable in the city and province. Classics like Coldfire, Abel's Ale and the beers from the Kon Minder line are brewed in the modern brewery on Reitdiep in the city. Besides de brouwerij, they also have a tasting room here with a waterside terrace. There you can go for drinks, dinners and, of course, a good glass of beer. The tasting room also organises regular events and organises tastings and guided tours. A great place to enjoy a Kon Minder beer with friends.
