The Wooden House

The Wooden House is the North's visual music theatre company. Based in Groningen, we create performances that can be seen at home and abroad. Our house symbolises life, where sometimes something squeaks and creaks or an unexpected guest drops by. We are always hammering and scraping away at stories, imagination and musicality. By day, we play for school classes, from toddler to adolescent. But in the evening, when adults come out of the room with the same disbelief, it turns out that emotion and imagination know no age limit....
