Garden and nature, a green society and sustainability. That is Growth & Bloom; that is what binds us and what we want to work for. The experience of gardening, flower arranging and the passion for green in general are the inspiration for this. "Green fingers" are not necessarily required.
Groei & Bloei is a national association of garden and nature lovers and has 120 chapters across the country. Section Midden-Groningen is one of them. Our department organises fun activities, such as lectures (free for members), flower arranging evenings, excursions and, together with other departments in Groningen, the Open Garden Relay. During that weekend, 15 of our department's gardens can be visited. Together with the Fraeylemaborg, we also organise the annual fair on Easter Monday.
