This beautiful, spacious listed farmhouse is situated on the outskirts of Borgsweer in the expansive agricultural countryside of Groningen, amongst the potato and wheat fields. Many of the original features of this listed building have been preserved or restored. It is a cosy and spacious house in which to stay with your family or friends. The house is fully equipped. There are three bedrooms, each with two single beds (which can be joined together), and one of the bedrooms has an extra sleeping space in the form of a spacious box bed. Two cots are also available. There is also a lovely kitchen-diner, a spacious living room with two extra beds, a covered outdoor area, a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, one bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a separate toilet.
The living room has French doors leading out to the large garden with a fruit orchard and a terrace featuring a picnic bench, garden chairs and a barbecue.

In the barn there is a pedal tractor and a large go-kart. There is a swing, sandpit and small swimming pool (without chlorine and pump). In the house are games, books and toys for children.
Lalleweer/Borgsweer is on the edge of the Netherlands, between Delfzijl and Termunterzijl near the Ems-Dollard dike. The surroundings offer many opportunities for walking, cycling and fishing. About 3 km away is a small beach at the beautiful village of Termunterzijl, where you can swim in the Eems-Dollard. There are also many cosy eateries here. About 15 km away are two large swimming and sailing lakes. The Polder Breebaard nature reserve is about 6 km away. There, seals can be spotted behind a viewing wall in the Dollard. There are many more outings to think of in the province, such as: Boutange fortress, Appingedam with hanging kitchens, canoeing, play paradise in Beerta and Nieuw Scheemda, day trip to the city of Groningen, nature reserve 't Roegwold, museums, seal sanctuary Pieterburen, mudflats, day trip to Wildlands Emmen, day trip to Borkum or Schiermonnikoog or a day of cures or an evening visit to the sauna in Bad Nieuweschans.
