Weaving centre Golden Haand in Finsterwolde is a Valhalla for weaving enthusiasts. Here, research, production and promotion of hand-woven textiles all come together.
Weaving is Mirja Wrak's passion; she has been doing it all her life. She has taken several international courses in weaving and art weaving, and during years of wandering around the world she has acquired many different weaving techniques. Today, she is based in Finsterwolde and runs her own weefcentrum Golden Haand, there. At Golden Haand, everything comes together. The shop sells everything you need to start weaving, books about it and, of course, woven products. There are various courses where you can learn weaving or other techniques.
