Camping Moekesgat is a cosy family campsite in the heart of the beautiful Westerwolde. The campsite has 62 spacious pitches and is characterised by a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Fancy a drink on the terrace of the beach club? Going for a boat trip, fishing or swimming in the leisure lake? Or playing beach volleyball or toasting bread on the campfire at the fire pit? You can do it all at camping Moekesgat. What’s more, as a campsite guest, you’ll have free access to the adjacent municipal outdoor swimming pool. Camping Moekesgat is a 5-minute walk from the Westerwoldse woods, which offer beautiful walking and mountain-biking trails. A 5-minute drive takes you to Germany, where there are charming villages to visit. There’s plenty to do in Westerwolde and the northern tip of Drenthe.
