De Helper
De Helper , a listed building, is a polder mill on the eastern shore of the Paterswoldsemeer in the municipality of Haren, in the province of Groningen, in the hamlet of Nijveensterkolk.

The mill was built in 1863 south of the city of Groningen to drain the Helpman polder using an auger. The mill permanently fell out of use in the 1960s and fell into disrepair. Due to the expansion of the city of Groningen and the construction of the A28 motorway, the mill was demolished at its original location in 1969 and rebuilt near the Paterswoldsemeer in 1971. The pumping station is now built in a circuit for water circulation of the ditches on the eastern side of the lake. The mill operates on a voluntary basis. Source: Wikipedia.
