Groninger Museum
Groningen's museum of art and art history: painting, design, photography, fashion, installations, applied art and archaeology.
Take a closer look
The Groninger Museum Museum stands for extrovert and multicoloured. With a multifaceted collection of art and antiquities and a series of special, innovative exhibitions of international stature, the museum manages to appeal to a wide audience time and again.
The museum is a work of art in itself, where each space is also a reference to the collection. Alessandro Mendini's structure, with partial designs by Michele De Lucchi, Philippe Starck and Coop Himmelb(l)au, is an inspiring shell for an equally artistic content.
