Newlyweds Jilke and Gea Marinus stepped into the Bakery in 1985. From one business in Loppersum, it has grown into a company with branches in Appingedam, Uithuizen and three in Groningen. A real family business full of passion for the baking trade.

From start to finish, everything is homemade. New recipes as well as old gems. How about 'Zoetbrood' a typical northern Groningen product. Or the 'Academy Square' never changed in almost 150 years. The assortment makes it clear that tastes differ, from cakes and biscuits to pastries, chocolates, luxury and 'ordinary' bread. Thirty-five different varieties, you name it.
