Latteringegasthuis
On Visserstraat in Groningen stands the Latteringegasthuis. This small guesthouse was founded in 1636 by Willemien Latteringe and was intended for old, Catholic women.

Earlier, the guesthouse stood on De Laan, but in 1857 it moved to Visserstraat. Later, several more properties on Hoekstraat were added to the guest house. In 1969, the guest house became vacant. It was first squatted for a period, but in 1978 the building was sold and restored.
