Second Thought
Right above the roundabout in the cycle shed at the Main Station hangs a snow globe of sorts. An enormous specimen that hangs upside down too.

Inside the sphere are 11 Plexiglas plates that closely resemble the contours of the station building. LED lighting creates continuous movement in the sphere. The artwork was designed by Giny Vos. She drew her inspiration from the contrast between the Stadsbalkon and the station building. On the one hand, the modern square gives the monumental station new allure, but it also hides part of the station from view. With Second thought, Vos mirrors the station from top to bottom, as it were, thus connecting the two structures below ground as well.
