Kerk Kloosterburen
This church dates from 1843 and stands on a raised former churchyard that has since been converted into a public garden. The church building is simple in design, with vertical brickwork.

The interior is more attractive than the exterior; it is bright and atmospheric because of the light tones combined with the red-brown tiles. The beautiful pulpit is a prominent feature under the wooden barrel vault. Inside is a one-manual organ, built by the Van Oeckelen brothers in 1898.
A bell cast in 1501, probably from the tower of the Der Aa-kerk in Groningen, hangs in the tower.
