The canoe adventure
The canoe adventure is an initiative of recreation farm de Waddenhoeveaddenhoeve, where you can experience both a short and long holiday on the Groninger Maren in a professional canoe.

Location
In the past, the Maren were formed by the Wadden Sea. These former Wadden channels now form a network of winding waters in the north of the province of Groningen. You will make a canoe trek through this Maren landscape, visiting cute old mound villages, discovering living room pubs and more objects and buildings preserved from history. Along the way, you will camp at small-scale campsites that give you a warm welcome. You could, if you wish, make this canoe tour even more adventurous by cooking on a wood fire.
When you book this trip, you will be guided from A to Z in your canoeing holiday. You will be given a very detailed route booklet and will read about the sights you will encounter along the way.
Basically, you decide when you leave and when you return to De Waddenhoeve.
