For us, jazz is a part of our existence and has therefore been given a central role within The Smooth Brothers. It refers to an interplay between passion, fun and, above all, improvisation. In Jazz, different instruments often come together for a jam session. Nothing is prepared, they just start playing. The band members have learned to listen to each other and adapt to each other in order to create a beautiful whole. In doing so, it is important that they give each other room for improvisation. This attitude makes a jazz band enormously flexible. At The Smooth Brothers, we also work from this philosophy. Like jazz, we enjoy the organised chaos. Together with our team, we form the band. We have no structure but are on the same level as everyone else within The Smooth Brothers. Everyone is an addition to the whole and ensures that we take the service to the next level. One way this happens is through continuous feedback. We give each other room for improvisation so that everyone can seize their moment to impress the guest. Enthusiasm, passion and discipline are key here.
For us, everything is about the guests' experience. They take centre stage. 'It is the team's mission to impress our guests as well as each other to create a moment of pure joy.' It is therefore of great importance that our guests feel seen and heard. Our team makes the difference
