Our small-scale campsite is all about peace and quiet. You won't be bothered by cars: except on arrival and departure, our campsite is completely car-free. Unless you come with a camper, of course. The pitches are large and have free electricity and wifi. At the Lentemaheerd, we don't bother about extra costs. Even showering is free of charge. Something we are proud of: our campsite has sanitary facilities for the disabled. We like to make everyone feel welcome.

Get closer to Groningen agriculture
Our campsite started years ago as a sideline to our agricultural business. Gradually, we started focusing more and more on our guests. Nevertheless, we still like to tell the story of agriculture and life in the province of Groningen. You can taste that not only at Lentemaheerd, but also in the surrounding area. Stap on your bike and you ride through the agricultural landscape coloured by the various crops, such as blooming potato fields. The waving grain fields colour beautifully with the seasons, from fresh green to golden yellow.
