The church, dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul, was built around 1100 in tuff stone. It was destroyed by fire in 1231. It was subsequently raised using brick and extended to the west. In 1863, it was plastered, and neo-Gothic decorations were added. On the east wall of the chancel, there are murals depicting the Last Judgement and images of Saints Bartholomew and Christopher.
