St Mary’s Church
The church was built in 1280 and has been well preserved ever since. The tower was added in the fourteenth century.

The two eastern vaults are painted with 13th-century decorative masonry patterns. Shortly after 1300, a heavy stone chancel screen was built in several phases. An organ has stood on this brick chancel screen since 1531, making it one of the oldest organs in the Netherlands. The church has a simple interior; the pulpit, baptismal font and a family pew for the Ripperda family date from the seventeenth century.
